Unity Travel started out as 3 friends renting a party bus to get to a music festival. Our first group was only about 25 people. Within a couple years we were selling out hotel rooms and shuttling thousands of people. Everyone that we helped saw the hotel and shuttle service as a way to expand the festival experience outside of the walls of the event.  Our guests enjoyed meeting new people, sharing stories, and  being take care of. We had such positive feedback that we decided to start offering our services to other festivals throughout the year. Now, we service dozens of events and thousands of people all over the world.

Meet Chris!

Chris Overlay is the Chief Marketing Officer at Unity Travel. His first introduction to EDM music was when he attended EDC 2010 at the Colosseum in Los Angeles. Markus Schulz, Solarstone, and Gareth Emery are the artists he’s currently been blasting non-stop.

Born in Denver, Chris moved to Las Vegas when he was a kid, his dad is in the restaurant business and his mom an architectural document specialist. Chris graduated from UNLV (go Rebels!) with a degree in Marketing. He recently moved to Wisconsin to be with his fiancé, but when he’s back in Vegas you can find him at his dad’s old-fashioned, homestyle barbecue restaurant, Sin City Smokers, or ordering an IPA at a local bar.

Getting to party at music festivals all year around for work, I’d say, he has a pretty nice gig. His favorite festival is TomorrowWorld USA, although even he thinks EDC has been amazing since it moved to Las Vegas.

In his spare time he can be found browsing Facebook, or binge watching X-Files and Castlevania on on Netflix. His bucket list travel destination is The United Kingdom, his celebrity crush is Jack Black, and he’s a self proclaimed Ravenclaw “Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure.”

Meet Josh!

Josh Payne’s role at Unity Travel is Business Development & Operations. His first introduction to EDM was at EDC Los Angeles in 2010, a festival he still has fond memories of. His headphones are currently blasting Above and Beyond and the Group Therapy podcasts. The best concert he’s ever been to is EDC Las Vegas 2011 “It was an incredible experience, Swedish House Mafia on the main stage was life changing.”

His favorite music festival is any new festival, “There is nothing like seeing and experiencing an event for the first time. I always enjoy myself when we tackle a new event.”

Born in Melbourne, FL and raised in Las Vegas, Josh graduated from UNLV with a degree in Finance in 2012. As a current Vegas local you can him on a Friday night at Therapy on Fremont Street ordering a sour & spicy Mezcal cocktail or an amber ale. Although he doesn’t have too much time for TV, he’s been enjoying WestWorld. He also uses Reddit for all of his news and current event needs.

Josh has a lot of traveling ahead of him with a desire to go to China, Germany and Moscow. His favorite city currently is Seattle, which he’s in luck because Unity is constantly working with festivals in the Pacific Northwest.

Meet Erika!

Erika Bruno is the Director of Reservations at Unity Travel. Born and raised in Las Vegas, a fellow UNLV Rebel who majored in Marketing and a minored in Finance.

She was first introduced to electronic music (hardstyle to be exact) when she was young, but was reintroduced in 2010 with the rise of dubstep. Her background in dancing drew her into the music that was taking the world by storm. Her first rave was Identity 2012 seeing artists like Kaskade, Afrojack, and Steve Aoki in an intimate setting.

Erika is currently blasting techno from her speakers. Some of her current favorites include: Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Nicole Moudaber, and Francesca Lombardo. Her favorite pastime concerts include *NSync and Spice Girls. Her favorite festival is CRSSD and Paradiso, but she also loved TomorrowWorld (RIP).

When Erika isn’t working, she can be found hiking one of the many trails at Red Rock Canyon. She is a fan of locally brewed beer and enjoys porters or sours. She also appreciates a good handcrafted cocktail.  Erika very health-conscious, preferring locally sourced, organic, and well-prepared vegetarian meals. Some of her favorite spots in Vegas include Herringbone, Vegenation, Pier 215, and Veggie House.

In her free time, she is scrolling through Twitter & Instagram, watching documentaries on Netflix, daydreaming about traveling to see the Northern Lights, or fan-girling over young Michael Jackson and young Leonardo DiCaprio. Fun fact: she was the first successful in vitro baby in Las Vegas.

He is currently listening to a lot of Drumcode records and Adam Beyer. The best concert he’s ever been to was Jay-Z or The Misfits. His favorite annual music festival is Ultra in Miami.
