Above & Beyond Announce ABGT250 at The Gorge Amphitheater
Proclaiming it their “spiritual home,” iconic trio Above & Beyond are set to return to The Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington this summer for a special 2-day event. The trio’s Group Therapy Weekender is a new summer festival set to feature Above & Beyond and the best in Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep talent.
Above & Beyond have maintained their commitment to scheduling massive milestone live shows for their radio program Group Therapy. Milestone shows occur every 50 radio show episode. It was Above & Beyond’s ABGT250 show in 2017 that initially introduced the group to the spectacular Gorge Amphitheater. After selling out the 25,000 cap space, they knew they had to return.
Above & Beyond’s debut, day-to-night weekend festival is scheduled for July 27th and 28th.
Marshmello Concert Brought 10 Million Fortnite Players
Fortnite is undisputedly one of the most popular video games ever, and yesterday it made history with a virtual Marshmello concert. According to an inside source, Fortnite had 10 million concurrent players during the event.
On Saturday, Marshmello played a LIVE concert inside of Fortnite. At 2 PM est, you could head into a 30v30 lobby, drop over at Pleasant Park and there was a full stage set up ready to go with Marshmello DJ’ing & talking live. With damage turned off while at the concert, you got lobbies full of 60 people each doing Fortnite dances, the worm, the Marsh walk, and other emotes.
Marshmello has provided his own statement: “We made history today! The first ever live virtual concert inside of @fortnite with millions of people in attendance. So insane, thank you epic games and everyone who made this possible!”

The Prodigy Announces First Tour in 10 Years
The Prodigy is coming to absolute wreck your face with their first North American tour in a decade. The iconic UK electronic trio announced a spatter of the festival and solo dates in support of their 2018 LP No Tourists starting this May.
“It’s about the want and need to be derailed and not to follow that easy set path,” The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett is quoted in a press release. “In these times we live in, people have become lazier and forgotten how to explore. Too many people are allowing themselves to be force fed, with whatever that may be. No Tourists is about reaching out further to find another alternative route where the danger and excitement may be to feel more alive … not accepting that you can just be a tourist.”
Tomorrowland’s Main Stage Designer Has Declared Bankruptcy
Neverland Themepark Projects, one of the principal designers for the iconic stages of Tomorrowland has declared bankruptcy and is no longer active. The design company was, in part, responsible for the Tomorrowland stages including The Book of Wisdom as well as the underwater themed Planaxis from last year.
The company released an official statement on the shutdown which read – “We want to thank you for the years of cooperation and trust. This message will come in hard; we are well aware of that. With our whole team we have been fighting until the last minute, but due to a combination of circumstances, we are forced to close the doors of Neverland definitively. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience that we may cause you.”
The festival has come out explaining to attendees that the closure of the design firm will not affect the festival. While Neverland certainly helped the overall image of the main stages, the Tomorrowland vision is so broad it could never be handled by one company alone.
The future is inevitable, which could be a daunting experience to some but inside the world of Das Energi Festival, we will welcome the future. We will open our mind and our hearts to what tomorrow brings. This world that we formed must progress.
Das Energi Festival will return to the monumental grounds of the Saltair along the glittering shores of the Great Salt Lake. But this year, we will transform this historic landmark into a new world, unlike any place you’ve been before. With three stages to explore and an entirely new main stage design, the future of Das Energi Festival is happening now.
This year, leave your preconceptions at the door. Open your mind and heart, and connect with us. And remember: this world is what WE MAKE IT because YOU ARE THE ENERGI.
More details coming this spring!
