The Battle of the SoCal Festivals

The Battle of the SoCal Festivals

We will give you the info on two Halloween festivals, and you decide where to spend All Hallows’ Eve weekend!

Formerly known as Escape from Wonderland, or last year’s Escape All Hallows’ Eve, has a new theme this year…Psycho Circus. On October 30-31 NOS will once again be transformed into spooky grounds with surprises around every corner. If you are looking for something scary, you will find it here but don’t worry you can avoid it, if you’re careful. The line up includes a wide variety of performers for your enjoyment, such as Above & Beyond, Blasterjaxx, John Digweed, Excision, Showtek, and many, many more. Don’t be scared, and join the circus.

Hard Day of the Dead

On October 31-November 1, Day of the Dead will be heading back to the Fairplex, but with a new twist. DOTD is now 21+, which means no more beer gardens. There is also an attendance cap at 40,000 people, so that means less crowded, more room to dance and (hopefully) shorter lines! The line up is insane, with a wide variety of talent across different genres. With Nero, Tommy Trash, Jauz, The M Machine, Skrillex, Juciy J, Valentino Khan, and many more performing get ready to dance, and dance, and dance some more.

What about both?

Since Escape is on October 30-31 and DOTD is on October 31-November 1, there is always the possibility of doing both. Unity Travel makes it easy for those daring to venture to both spooky festivals by having hotel packages at the same hotel. Since the hotel is centrally located to both Escape and DOTD there is no worry about switching hotels or paying more than necessary.

The decision is not easy, but do not miss out on one of these festivals on Halloween weekend! You can choose one, or venture out and choose both…if you dare!
