An Inside Look at Where to Stay During EDC Las Vegas
Inside Look at Where to Stay During EDC Las Vegas
Let’s explore 3 stunning and very affordable hotels where you can stay during EDC Las Vegas 2017, where to get drinks, what to do, and pricing.Â
Insomniacs annual Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas is the biggest event of the summer. Last year it drew in over 400,000 people over the duration of it’s three days. That’s insane!
EDC’s popularity makes sense. It’s timed perfectly smack dab in the middle of summer vacation, it’s located in the ultimate destination city Las Vegas, and because the festival is overnight you won’t be caught up in the heat.
Let’s not forget that every year EDC tops itself by adding bigger headliners, and bringing in more insane visuals, stages, carnival rides, and theatrics.
That being said, because of EDC’s popularity, if you don’t plan ahead, you’ll be left in the dust. Hotel rooms and festival passes sell out immediately every year and that leaves the procrastinators stuck with high inflation rates, and possibly getting scammed on a secondhand ticket. Make sure that isn’t you this year.
For EDC 2017, Unity Travel will be offering three hotel locations. We also offer shuttle busses to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where EDC is held. And we all know what a pain it is to drive there and finding parking is even worse, believe it or not.
The Golden Nugget
For the second year in a row, we will be returning to the famous Golden Nugget casino, located smack dab in the heart of downtown Las Vegas.
Downtown Las Vegas is the âold Strip,âbut itâs been getting a huge face lift lately and is my personal favorite place to party because of how close all the casinos and hotels are.
Only $499Â will get you 3 nights in the hotel room, access to our 3 day long pool parties during the day, and a shuttle bus to and from the Speedway. To put that in perspective for you: hotel rooms inflate up to $1000 for 3 night stays if you book during EDC week, and that’s if the rooms aren’t sold out.
The Golden Nugget offers many amenities. It’s ideal location puts you in the middle of other bars and casinos. The food offerings in downtown Las Vegas are some of the best and most inexpensive. You’ve also got the Aquarium pool at The Golden Nugget to relax at during the day.
If relaxing isn’t your thing, we host a 3 day long pool party at the Hideout Pool. Sponsored by Red Bull, Corona, and New Amsterdam Vodka. Last year, Kennedy Jones headlined. Pretty heavy hitters, if you ask me.
The Harrah’s is centrally located on the Las Vegas strip. It also sits right next to the High Roller and Linq shopping district.
This hotel is perfect if you want to be located right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, and at $509 for 3 nights you can’t really beat that price.
Harrah’s is right next door to the now iconic Las Vegas High Roller. Staying here also puts you right next to the The Linq Promenade which has endless shoppes and bars. You’ll never even have to venture onto the actual Las Vegas Strip if you don’t want to!
If seedy dive bars are your thing, there’s The Stage Door Casino located on Linq drive that’ll get you some cheap shots and $1 hot dogs. If you’re looking for something nicer, The Yard House offers many craft beer and signature food items. Concert venue, bowling alley, and restaurant Brooklyn Bowl are known for their fantastic fried chicken and neon bowling.
Plus, the first on-strip In-N-Out burger will be opening in this area.
The Excalibur is one of the most iconic silhouettes in the Las Vegas skyline. This classic hotel and casino, built in 1975 has become a Las Vegas staple and it’s not going anywhere.
A 3 night stay during EDC weekend will cost only $399. That’s a steal! And just like the other packages, this includes the shuttle bus to and from EDC, and our legendary pool parties.
Excalibur has a prime location right in the middle of the strip. You can cross the bridge to New York New York, MGM, or take the tram to Mandalay Bay. It also includes one of the largest arcades on The Strip plus a Medieval Times like dinner show complete with jousters.
Or if you feel like being insulted by your server, check out Dicks. A quirky restaurant at the Excalibur where the help is mean to you on purpose. It’s a fun experience, especially for a big group.
A patron at Dicks wearing a signature personalized insult hat.
We will also be offering Shuttle Passes for $54 for those not taking part in our hotel rooms. We have hundreds of busses, and dozens of stops across The Strip and Las Vegas.
