How do I know that Unity Travel is a trusted website? 

We understand that Unity Travel is relatively new to the industry, and there may be some skepticism surrounding the nature of our business. However, there should be no doubt in your mind that we are reliable, secure, and can definitely be trusted. For starters, Unity Travel is a IATAN certified travel service provider. Our checkout process is SSL secured to protect your payment information. We are also in contract with many different hotels, shuttle services, and event hosts. Rest assured, you are in good hands. 


How do hotel reservations work? 

We have alreayd established a relationship with the hotel and have a Unity Travel group reservation locked in. When you purchase a hotel package with us, we reserve your spot in our group reservation. Within 1-2 weeks before the associated event taking place, we give your name and reservation over to the hotel. Your reservation is held under the name that you used to purchase your package. When you check in to the hotel, you will be asekd to put a credit card on file for incedentals (i.e. room service or damages). 

If I buy event tickets, how will I receive them? 

The delivery method used for event tickets varries depending on who the event host is. There are usually 2 ways that we send out tickets: A. Electronic tickets will be emailed out, usually within a week of the event taking place. B. Physical (or hard) tickets will be available for pick up at the main hotel associated with any given event. Either way, we ALWAYS send out plenty of information and instructions to our guests. You will be informed on how to get your tickets well in advance of the event taking place. 

How does shuttle check in work? 

Shuttle check-in, for any event, takes place during the first day of the event. The location of the check-in station will be announced via email within 2 weeks of the event start date. The check-in station is where you will need to pick up your wristband(s). Your shuttle reservation will be held under the same name and email that you used to purchase passes on unity.travel. 




When will I receive my hotel confirmation number?

Confirmation numbers are distributed to our customers approximately two weeks prior to the festival.

How do I receive my shuttle passes?

When you arrive to the shuttle pickup location you will need to check in with the Unity Travel staff member on site. We will have your name(s) on a list and will issue you a wristband once you check in. We send shuttle checkin locations and contact numbers for Unity staff members about 1-2 weeks before any event date.

How long do shuttles run?

Shuttles typically start running 30 minutes prior to the start of the festival, the continue making trips for about 3-4 hours. They start again about 30 minutes prior to the festival ending and run for another 1-2 hours or until everyone has received a ride back to their hotel or drop off location.

Where do we meet for shuttles?

You will be emailed a specific check-in location about 1-2 weeks before the festival.

Are tickets included in the package?

Tickets are not included in packages by default. Many of our packages have options for adding event tickets. If you add an event ticket(s) to your package, then event tickets are included.

How do I claim my event tickets?

Depending on the event you will either be emailed e-tickets or you will receive instructions on how to pick up your tickets from the will-call area at the festival. We will let you know which delivery method will take place as soon as possible after you make a purchase.

Can I change the name on my ticket?

Yes, but only if you contact us more than 14 days ahead of the festival. If you contact us within 14 days, we cannot guarantee that we can make the name change in time.

Is Unity Travel a sanctioned or official partner of the festivals?

Yes, we are official partners with most events that we service. If you have questions about our partnerships, please email us at info@unity.travel.

If I’m under 21, can I purchase and check in?

As long as the festival you are planning to attend is not 21+ then, yes! If there are special guidelines for hotel check ins then we will email instructions on how to make sure you are able to check in.

What are the check in / check out times?

Exact times cary depending on the hotel and city, but generally hotel check in times are at about 3pm and check out times are at 11am.

Can I get early check in?

We can make an official request for early check in for, but early check in is not always a guarantee. Many times festival fall on very busy dates for hotels, resulting in limited inventory of available rooms. If the hotel has the rooms available, they will do their best to check you in early.

Are there extra fees at the hotel?

Sometimes… Upon checkin you will be asked to place a credit card on file. The card will be used for any incidentals or damages to the room. Also, in some cities there are resort fees. Resort fees will be added to the card you put on file when you check in. Exact resort fees are usually listed in the hotel information on our product pages. How can I get a refund?

We do offer refunds, but there are some stipulations. Check out our refund policy here.

How does the group payment process work?

What is a solo traveler?

A solo traveler is an individual or couple that is traveling to an event on their own! traveling solo can be a truly amazing experience, and we recommend that everyone try it at least once in their life. We have build specialty packages for solo travelers in order to make traveling to festivals easier and more fun!

How does matching solo travelers work?

Once you make an order, you will receive an email titled “Solo Traveler Information.” In that email you will find a link to a questionnaire that will ask you a few questions about you and your interests. We will use the information you share with us to pair you up with other solo travelers who have also filled out the same questionnaire. You can also find a person or couple to pair up with by checking out these social groups on Reddit and Facebook.

Can I edit my order after I’ve purchased?

Yes but as long as you contact us more than 14 days before the festival or event. Once we get closer to the event, making changes with the hotel or festival becomes much harder and we cannot guarantee that any changes will actually take place.

What information does Unity Travel store?

We take the privacy of our guests seriously and only keep information that is absolutely necessary. Any payment information will not be stored or shared with anyone. We do keep general contact info on file (i.e. Name, email, phone, address) but we do not share that information with any 3rd parties.
